Privacy Policy

Short version: the ApplyOnce extension keeps your job-tracking data in your own browser. We do not have a copy of it, because there is no server for it to go to.

1. Who we are

Skybolabs (“we”, “us”) operates the website skybolabs.com and publishes the ApplyOnce browser extension. You can reach us at support@skybolabs.com about anything in this policy.

This policy covers two separate things: the extension, and the website. They are covered separately below because they behave differently.

2. The ApplyOnce extension

What it stores

ApplyOnce records the status you assign to LinkedIn job postings — Seen, Applied, or Referred — along with the job identifier and title needed to show that status again later.

Where it is stored

In your browser’s local extension storage, on your own device. This data is never transmitted to Skybolabs. We operate no server that receives it, and we could not retrieve your job history if you asked us to.

What it does not do

  • It does not ask for, receive, or store your LinkedIn credentials.
  • It does not create a Skybolabs account — there is no such thing.
  • It does not upload, parse, or store your resume or CV.
  • It does not track your browsing outside LinkedIn job pages.
  • It does not contain analytics, telemetry, or advertising code.
  • It does not sell, rent, or share data with third parties — there is no data of yours in our possession to share.
  • It does not apply to jobs, send messages, or take any action on your behalf.

Deleting your data

Removing the extension from Chrome deletes its stored data along with it. Clearing your browser’s site and extension data has the same effect. Because nothing is held server-side, no deletion request to us is necessary — there is nothing on our side to delete.

Permissions

ApplyOnce requests only the browser permissions required to read the LinkedIn job page you are viewing and to store status locally. The current, authoritative list of permissions is always shown on the Chrome Web Store listing at install time.

3. This website

skybolabs.com is a static website. It sets no cookies, has no login, and collects no personal information. There are no contact forms — getting in touch means emailing us, which puts you in control of what you send.

Analytics

We may use privacy-preserving, cookie-free website analytics to see aggregate traffic levels (page views and referring sites). Such analytics do not use cookies, do not fingerprint visitors, and do not build cross-site profiles. No individual visitor is identified, and nothing collected is sold or shared.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. As with any web host, AWS processes standard request data (including IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and protect the service. This is handled by AWS as our hosting provider under its own terms.

Email

If you email support@skybolabs.com, we keep that correspondence in order to reply and to track reported issues. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your address for anything you did not write to us about.

4. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data an organisation holds about you. For the extension the answer is unusually simple: we hold none, and your own copy is deletable at any time from your browser. For email correspondence, write to support@skybolabs.com and we will action your request.

5. Children

Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — particularly if a future feature ever requires sending data off your device — we will update this page, change the date above, and note it in the changelog. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not.
