What it does

A new 4K photo every day, with a quote and a mantra. Each photographer is credited with their licence, right on the page. Skip one, pin a favourite, or hide the ones that are not for you.
One main focus, one timer
Name the single thing that matters today and it sits under the clock. Focus Mode hides everything else. The Pomodoro timer keeps running after you close the tab — and so do the soundscapes, which are synthesised in your browser rather than streamed.
Plan without another app
To-do lists, notes, habits with streaks, countdowns, world clocks, links and local weather — all panels on the one page you already open forty times a day. Show the ones you want and hide the rest.
Private by design
No account, no sign-up, no analytics. Your notes, to-dos and habits live in your browser. Calmora goes online for exactly two things, and neither of them is us — see the privacy policy.
How it works
Install it
Add Calmora from the Chrome Web Store. Chrome will ask whether to keep your new tab page changed — that is Chrome asking, not us, and you can undo it any time.
Open a new tab
Today’s photo is already there, from the set that ships inside the extension, so it works on your first tab and offline.
Make it yours
Turn widgets on and off, pick an accent colour, set °C or °F. Calmora asks for a permission only at the moment you use the feature that needs it, and you can take it back in Settings.
Calmora talks to exactly two services, and neither of them is us.
Wikimedia Commons, for the optional daily Picture of the Day. Open-Meteo, for the weather in the city you pick. That is the whole list. There is no Skybolabs server, no account and no analytics, so there is nothing of yours for us to hold — your to-dos, notes, habits and settings are written to your browser’s own storage and go nowhere else. Uninstalling takes them with it.
